The Kansas State basketball team gained some front-court depth on Thursday.
Patrick Muldoon, a 6-foot-7, 215-pound forward from Basehor who spent the past two years at Eastern Illinois, has joined the Wildcats as a walk-on. Muldoon, a junior, has two years of college eligibility remaining. He can begin playing for K-State in 2018-19 after he sits out one season per NCAA transfer rules.
“We are excited to have Patrick join our program,” K-State basketball coach Bruce Weber said. “We have been fortunate over the years to have some really quality walk-ons, players like Brain Rohleder, Austin Budke and Zach Winter, and Patrick certainly brings those qualities to our team.
