MANHATTAN — Scoring areas were open in the middle, and Kansas State took advantage inside and outside.
Megan Deines worked outside and Breanna Lewis inside, combining for 39 points to lead the Wildcats to a 76-45 victory over Abilene Christian on Monday at Bramlage Coliseum.
Deines, a senior transfer from Louisville, scored 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting with two 3-pointers and the 6-foot-5 Lewis scored 19 points on 9-of-12 shooting.
“Megan does a good job getting in the middle, and that’s an area we have multiple players we have confidence in,” K-State coach Jeff Mittie said.
