At 34 years old, in his 13th NFL season, Kansas State football icon Darren Sproles is a Super Bowl champion as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Sproles didn’t play in the Eagles’ 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots, as he remains on the injured reserve list after breaking his arm and tearing his ACL on a single play in Week 3 against the New York Giants, but Sproles remained signed by the Eagles and tweeted shortly after the injury that he planned to return after recovering from his injuries.
If that’s true, expect him to climb to at least sixth place on the NFL’s career all-purpose yardage chart.
