Because your Tuesday needed some sunshine.
Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder dropped a bomb today during his weekly press availability at the Vanier Football Complex. He announced that senior cornerback Danzel McDaniel will miss the remainder of the season due to the unspecified injury he suffered against TCU.
Snyder also sent a mixed message regarding injured safety Dante Barnett, stating that it was "unlikely" he'd suit up for the Baylor game, but later stating that K-State might pursue a medical waiver to allow Barnett to play next season. That would require Barnett to miss the entire season and have medically documented proof that he was unable to return mid-season.
