Dante Barnett has unfinished business.
A year ago at this time, Barnett was preparing for his senior football season at Kansas State. Preseason honors were rolling in and the Wildcat safety was primed for a big final season that he hoped would put him in position for the NFL Draft.
Barnett’s 2015 season lasted less than one half. A shoulder injury sustained late in the first half of the season-opening game against South Dakota put an end to Barnett’s plans.
Well, not an end to those plans, but a one-year delay.
Barnett received a medical redshirt and will try to pick up where he left off a year ago.
