Cre Moore, K-State football player, charged with DUI offense

MANHATTAN — Kansas State football player Cre Moore was arrested on a charge of driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol after he was involved in a one-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.

The Riley County Police Department responded to an accident near the intersection of Poyntz and Evergreen avenues at approximately 2:55 a.m. Sunday, according to the department’s activity report. They found a 2014 Ford F150 driven by Moore had left the roadway and collided with a light pole and a privately owned stone stairwell.

Moore, 20, did not sustain injuries but there was “major damage” to the front driver’s side.
