As we near the end of the the 2015 college football season, we’ve also neared the end of the second season of the “College Football Playoff” era. My predictions for the New Year’s Six bowls are at the end but first, what have we learned in the second season of college football’s newest frontier?
1. The Big 12 got it right
I will admit, I hated the Big 12 sacrificing teams early with brutal schedules so that TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma would all play huge games in the month of November. Whether by a stroke of luck or just genius scheduling by the conference, however, the Big 12 has its “one true champion,” Oklahoma, and a spot in the College Football Playoff.
