Clock issues: Wildcats working to fix offense

Maybe more than anything, the struggles with clock management within the offense really got to Kansas State coach Bill Snyder.
Snyder talked on Tuesday about the frustrations with the Wildcats’ performance in a 17-16 loss at West Virginia.
Countless times, the Wildcats didn’t get set on offense until there were 10 seconds left on the play clock. K-State frequently looks to the sideline and adjusts its play after the opposing defense is set, and that left the Wildcats on their heels as they tried to get plays off on time.
Quarterback Jesse Ertz was often snapping the ball with two seconds on play clock, and a few times they didn’t get the play off at all.
