Paint the state purple after the Kansas State women completed the season sweep of the rival Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday night.
It took the Wildcats a little longer than they would have probably liked, but a 12-0 run early in the third quarter was all K-State needed to put the Jayhawks away for good and cruise to a 81-67 victory at Bramlage Coliseum.
While it wasn’t always pretty, K-State did come away with its second straight win and fifth in a row over the Jayhawks, who are still looking for their first Big 12 victory this season.
