A strong day in the field and on the track propelled Kansas State’s men’s and women’s track teams to victories in the K-State Winter Invitational on Saturday at Ahearn Field House.
The men’s side finished with 67 total points, while the women finished with 66 points.
“I feel like we hit a lot of really good marks today,” K-State head track and field coach Cliff Rovelto said. “I think in general, the throwers looked very good. There were some great marks and some personal records. There really was not a whole lot that was disappointing. Most of it was very encouraging and it is very encouraging to see what they are doing at this point.
