First it was ESPN, and then on Sunday another bracketologist dropped Kansas State from his NCAA Tournament projections.
CBS’ Jerry Palm removed the Wildcats from his bracket and moved them to the first four out category. ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, who removed K-State from his bracket after Wednesday’s loss to Oklahoma State, briefly placed the Wildcats back in on Saturday prior to the 81-51 loss to Oklahoma.
The loss to the Big 12’s last-place team doesn’t do much to help K-State’s chances at making the NCAA tournament and ending a two-year skid.
K-State has two regular season games left, both this week, before the Big 12 tournament next week in Kansas City.
