Cats ready for Pokes’ double-QB system

Who to watch…

when the wildcats have the ball
Justin Silmon rushed for a career-best 119 yards against Louisiana Tech two weeks ago, as the backup. If the freshman can become the featured back and take carries away from Charles Jones, K-State has the chance to control the clock and keep the ball out of Oklahoma State’s hands — the best form of defense against high-octane passing attacks like the Cowboys’. Silmon has outrushed Jones 210 yards to 87 this season, while averaging nearly 6 yards a carry doing it.

when the cowboys have the ball
Oklahoma State will start the game with Mason Rudolph at QB — the better passer in a two-quarterback system the Cowboys use this season.
