Cats ready for Baylor rematch

The first time Kansas State played Baylor this season, everything seemed to go according to plan. Except the final result, of course.

The Wildcats slowed down Baylor’s offense, managed to have some success against the Baylor zone and had a chance to win in the final minutes. But K-State couldn’t close the deal, losing 79-72 in double overtime.

K-State (14-9, 3-7 Big 12) will get a chance at a redo tonight at Bramlage Coliseum, when the Wildcats host No. 21 Baylor at 7:15 p.m. on ESPNews.

Looking back on the first meeting on Jan. 20, in Waco, Texas, K-State coach Bruce Weber said the ending was disappointing.
