Barry Brown wants redemption.
As the clock ticked down in the second half in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the Kansas State freshman had two chances to score the game-winning bucket for the Wildcats on Feb. 13. Instead, both shots missed and K-State lost 58-55 in overtime.
Now as the Wildcats prepare to face Oklahoma State in the opening game of the Big 12 Championship on Wednesday, Brown said he’s thought about his misses.
“It just leaves a sour taste in your mouth knowing you didn’t finish the job for your teammates,” Brown said, “I just want to get back on the court with them and compete and win this time.
