Cats need rally to beat Pitt State

Not all wins are good wins.

That was the general tone Monday night from Kansas State women’s basketball coach Jeff Mitte after his team rallied from eight points down in the second half to defeat Pittsburg State, 58-50, in the Wildcats’ final exhibition tune-up at Bramlage Coliseum.

“I thought Pittsburg State outplayed us,” Mittie said. “They obviously outcoached us. I think in every form they really outplayed us. We’re fortunate we shot better than them, and that’s why we won.
