Kansas State equestrian rider Alyssa Lombardi was named one of four October Big 12 Riders of the Month.
Lombardi earned her honor in Horsemanship.
“Alyssa is very deserving of being named Big 12 Rider of the Month,” K-State head coach Casie Maxwell said in a release.
“She’s always been a very hard worker, but things are really coming together for her this season. That is evident through the confidence she brings into the arena each time.”
During the month of October, Lombardi led the Horsemanship squad with a 3-0 record against ranked opponents. Lombardi owns a career record of 12-9-0, which includes the 3-0 mark this season.
