BURLINGTON, Iowa – The Kansas State men’s golf team carded a 9-under par 279 on Saturday, jumping two spots on the leaderboard to third place during the second round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge at the par 72, 7,360-yard Spirit Hollow Golf Course.
Freshman Jeremy Gandon, sophomore Oscar Spolander and senior Kyle Weldon lead the Wildcats as they are in the top 20 on the individual leaderboard.
Gandon notched five birdies on the front nine and added one more on the back to card a 5-under par 67 and put him in a tie for fifth with a two-day total 5-under par 139.
