K-State coaches, student-athletes and staff are spending five days with purple fans from around the state on the Catbacker Tour's "Western Swing." The group began its tour on Monday in Dodge City, then headed to Garden City on Tuesday, Scott City yesterday and is currently spending the day with Wildcat fans in Colby. The group will finish the Western Swing tomorrow in Hays.
"It's neat to be out in this very purple part of this state," said K-State President Dr. Kirk Schulz on Tuesday evening in Garden City. "Every time we drive out here, when we're out on the road, it reminds me how I appreciate all of you that come to all of our events.
