MANHATTAN — Since undergoing a minor knee procedure at the start of practice, Kansas State point guard Carlbe Ervin has been playing catch-up. The junior college transfer is just now getting up to speed with his conditioning and involvement in the offense.
“I was out of shape and not knowing anything, I was rushing trying to learn everything really quick,” Ervin said. “I feel healthier and in shape now. I’m getting more comfortable with the offense, just knowing my role.”
As his comfort level grows, Ervin should make more of an impact for K-State (5-1), which plays at Georgia (3-2) at 6 p.
