Kansas State’s Morgan Burns was named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year, the league office announced Wednesday morning.
The senior cornerback returned four kickoffs for touchdowns this season — including three in the final four weeks.
Burns leads the FBS in kickoff-return yards with 1,047 yards. His 33.8 yards per return are second.
