Tyler Lockett and David Allen are two names well known for their abilities on the football field at Kansas State, and not just on offense.
Lockett was also an accomplished kick and punt returner and Allen a punt returner. But they’re just two great names on a seemingly endless list of players who have had success in the return game at K-State.
Morgan Burns has cemented his name as the next successful returner in what has become a tradition for the Wildcats.
Burns is second all-time in season kick return yardage, going for 846 yards on 28 returns this year with three touchdowns — also second in school history.
