Bruce Weber open to playing Missouri regularly

Conference realignment has become common recently, and what were once rivalry games have now become non-conference affairs. One school that has felt this is Missouri, who left the Big 12 for the SEC in 2012.

This means that the team no longer plays Kansas State regularly, and Wildcats head men’s basketball coach Bruce Weber is open to the idea of renewing the rivalry.

Speaking to Kellis Robinett of the Kansas City Star, Weber mentioned that nothing was definite yet, but that having Kansas State play Missouri at a neutral site in Kansas City’s Sprint Center certainly had potential.
