Offensive lineman get overlooked and undervalued far too often, so we’re giving them some love in this week’s podcast. Since I don’t have the knowledge to do that myself, I brought on former Kansas State First Team All-Big 12 center Nick Leckey and friend of the podcast Robert Mays, a staff writer for The Ringer to do the job. Naturally, our conversation centered around Cody Whitehair, who has made the transition from college tackle (after starting his K-State career at guard) to NFL center look remarkably easy.
Since K-State will finally play a football game Saturday, we eventually got around to this year’s team to talk about things like how Adam Holtorf will adjust to his full-time role and what we can expect from Dalton Risner as the leader of a young, talented offensive line.
