There were a lot of good things to talk about from Saturday’s 20-18 loss to Oklahoma State, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. Derek and I certainly got to those positives, but it was hard to generate too much enthusiasm given the final result of K-State’s near-upset.
Yes, the fumble and that frustrating two-point conversion choice merited some significant discussion as two key plays. But really, there was plenty of blame to go around for an offense led by a talented yet shaky young quarterback who needs to find his footing soon if Kansas State wants to have a shot at a Big 12 title game appearance.
