Michigan State achieved a rare feat this week, blazing upward three spots to claim the throne despite being ranked first on only one of the Bring On The Cats Top 25 Poll's 10 ballots.
This phenomenon is due mainly to the fact that almost all of our voters agree that the Spartans are in the top three, while several of us penalized the Buckeyes heavily for a lackluster performance against Northern Illinois.
Predictably, Ole Miss and LSU were big upward movers after each posted an impressive conference win last week.
I have no explanation for how Oklahoma State was able to rise that high.
