Brief: Football player arrested over the weekend

K-State defensive back Kaleb Prewett, sophomore in business administration, was arrested around 1 a.m. Sunday morning in the 1600 block of Fairchild Avenue.

According to a Riley County Police report, Prewett, 20, was arrested for purchase and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Prewett was released on $500 bond. The arrest came just a day after the Wildcats’ victory over West Virginia, cementing a spot in the Liberty Bowl.
