K-State is preparing for what likely will be its biggest concert ever — a music festival at Snyder Family Stadium on Friday — but at least one person won’t be in attendance.
Head football coach Bill Snyder said he doesn’t have tickets to the first-ever Wildcat Kickoff, which will feature the multi-platinum Zac Brown Band.
“My office is right there,” Snyder said during the media day event in August, pointing to his Vanier Football Complex window from the field. “But I’m not sure whether I’ll be peeking out my window or not.”
Snyder has been known to attend Country Stampede, the annual festival at Tuttle Creek State Park.
