The bye week for Kansas State’s football team seemed to come at an ideal time between the final nonconference game and the Big 12 Conference opener.
“I always say ask me after we play the next ballgame and we’ll see if it had an impact on the outcome of that ballgame,” K-State coach Bill Snyder said last week. “By and large, I’d say it’s worked out well.”
Snyder said Monday on the Big 12 coaches teleconference that the off-week was productive as the Wildcats prepared for Saturday’s 3 p.m. kickoff at Oklahoma State.
“I think we made probably a little headway,” Snyder said.
