It takes a significant event to draw Bill Snyder’s attention away from preparing for a football game, but the Kansas State head coach admits his mind has occasionally wandered in recent weeks.
Not too often, as is evident by K-State’s three-game winning streak to become bowl eligible, but it was hard for Snyder not to reflect on the scope of a career that now takes him into the College Football Hall of Fame.
“I can’t honestly say it doesn’t get in my mind, but I try to divorce myself from it right now,” Snyder said last week.
