The Big 12 Conference announced its football players of the week, and Isaiah Zuber of the Kansas State Wildcats picked up the honor for special teams after K-State’s victory over the South Dakota Coyotes on Saturday.
The junior receiver from Stone Mountain, Ga., had four returns for 108 yards, including an 85-yard punt return for a touchdown that cut South Dakota’s lead to 24-19 with about 12 minutes left in the game. (The Wildcats would go on to take the lead when Zuber caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Skylar Thompson.)
This is Zuber’s first conference Player of the Week award.
