MANHATTAN, Kan. – Corey Coleman continued his remarkable season by catching two more touchdown passes in Baylor’s 31-24 win over Kansas State to give him a nation’s best 20 for the season.
Coleman extended his Baylor single-season record and moved within seven of tying the national record of 27 set by Louisiana Tech’s Troy Edwards in 1998.
Coleman broke wide open down the left sideline for an 81-yard touchdown pass from Jarrett Stidham to give the Bears a 21-7 lead midway through the second quarter.
