Coming off a four-game series in California, the K-State baseball team will travel to Surprise, Arizona, to take on No. 5 Oregon State and Utah.
K-State split the series this past weekend with UC Riverside. The Wildcats won the games on Friday and Sunday while the Highlanders won on Saturday and Monday.
Last season, the Wildcats played both Oregon State and Utah in the same tournament in Arizona.
K-State defeated Utah 3-2 in the first game on a walk-off hit by senior outfielder Danny Krause. The next day, the Wildcats lost to Oregon State 10-9.
The Utah Utes struggled last season as they went 16-36-1 and lost or tied in each of their last 10 games of the season.
