Aggies, Wildcats ready to tussle

HOUSTON — After more than three weeks of preparation, Kansas State and Texas A& M are ready to face off in Wednesday’s Texas Bowl.

The game kicks off at 8 p.m. on ESPN from NRG Stadium — home to the Houston Texans and this year’s Super Bowl.

Both K-State coach Bill Snyder and Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin spoke Tuesday from the Westin Galleria about this week’s contest and the progress made since the last time each team was on the field.

Snyder said his team has practiced consistently well and compared the Wildcats’ past week to the week leading up to the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl in 2015.
