5 DAYS TO KICKOFF: Jesse Mack

Jesse Dejuan Mack (b. Oct. 2, 1993) is a community college transfer who redshirted in JUCO and, in 2014, saw limited action against UTEP, but did not record any statistics. He will compete for more playing time as a junior.

Mack played one season for Highland Community College under head coach Aaron Arnold, helping the team to earn a 6-4 record in 2013. He was ranked No. 12 among junior college cornerbacks by ESPN.

He came away with 42 tackles, two interceptions and five pass breakups, and returned an interception 29 yards against Butler, a season-long return for the Scotties that helped them to defeat the fourth-ranked Grizzlies 23-21.
