33 DAYS TO 2018 KICKOFF: Jaquay Lane

Jaquavius DaQuan “Jaquay” Lane (b. Sept. 16, 1999) is a promising young wide receiver recruit out of Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia, who is likely to redshirt in 2018.

Lane, who is a cousin of current K-State cornerback Duke Shelley, selected the Wildcats over Power 5 offers from Louisville, Rutgers and Syracuse, plus a slew of smaller schools such as UCF, as well as interest from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Purdue, TCU, Vanderbilt and West Virginia.

He lettered two years for the Rams under head coach Christian Hunnicutt and was named to the All-Region team for Class 8-AAAAAAA as an athlete for the 2017 season.
