William Michael Jones II (b. July 23, 2001) is a promising, quick young cornerback prospect out of Summit High School in Mansfield, Texas. He may or may not redshirt in 2019.
Jones played for the Jaguars under head coach Channon Hall, and was rated the 60th-best cornerback in the Class of 2019 by ESPN and 62nd by 247Sports, which also ranked him as the 77th-best player in the state of Texas.
He picked up first-team all-district honors as both a junior and senior, while he also was named to the academic all-district team both years after recording 48 career tackles to go along with eight interceptions (six as a junior) and 15 passes defended during his career.
