World University Games KU basketball defeat Switzerland

Wayne Selden scored 16 points on 7-for-8 shooting, leading the Kansas men's basketball team to an easy 96-57 victory over Switzerland in the final game of pool play at the World University Games on Wednesday night.

The Jayhawks, playing as Team USA, finished 5-0 in pool play.

KU took control after the intermission, starting the second half on an 18-0 run. Selden scored eight points during that stretch.

Coach Bill Self used his bench liberally in the second half. Florida Gulf Coast guard Julian DeBose finished as KU's top scorer, posting 18 points on 8-for-11 shooting.
