DALLAS — It's safe to say a large number of KU football fans will not recognize many of the faces that take the field when the Jayhawks open their season against South Dakota State on Sept. 5.
But how well do the Jayhawks know their own faces?
Offensive lineman Jordan Shelley-Smith and tight end Ben Johnson were put to the test Monday at Big 12 football media days, given 20 seconds to draw each other's face. The catch? They could not look at their work, with teammate and judge Ben Goodman making sure they followed that rule.
