Sometimes you just have to stick to what you know. And what the Kansas Jayhawks know is basketball — not football.
It wouldn’t be the craziest things in the world if the Jayhawks lost to South Dakota State, an FCS school, to open up their 2015 season, but it wasn’t likely… or so we thought.
Not only did Kansas lose 41-38, but Jayhawks quarterback Montell Cozart lost it in the most “shoot-yourself-in-the-leg” fashion that you could ever see. As time was winding down, down by three points, the Jayhawks were driving and looking like they had shot.
