WACO, Texas — Kalani Brown scored 18 points, fellow freshman Beatrice Mompremier had 14 points and 12 rebounds and No. 4 Baylor won its 10th consecutive Big 12 game, 81-49 over Kansas on Saturday.
The Lady Bears (23-1, 10-1 Big 12) never trailed after scoring the game’s first eight points and led by at least double figures the rest of the game after Brown’s layup with just over 8 minutes left in the second quarter.
Alexis Prince scored 14 points in 24 minutes. It was her most extensive action in nine games since returning from arthroscopic surgery in November for a torn meniscus in her right knee.
