An official release from the desk of Kansas Chancellor Douglas A. Girod is music to the ears of nearly everyone that has ever been a fan of the University of Kansas athletics. Here is the most important line:
“This morning I met with Director of Athletics Sheahon Zenger and informed him that I am relieving him of his duties, effective immediately.”
Sheahon Zenger has been fired. After weeks and months and years of wanting him out of the KU athletics department, many have finally gotten their wish.
