LAWRENCE — Ben Goodman swears he isn’t tired of talking about “The Streak.”
As one of only three fifth-year seniors, the 6-foot-3, 253-pound defensive end actually cracks a smile across the table when asked if Kansas’ road losing skid is a topic that wears old.
“Nope, because one day I’m going to come in here and y’all are going to ask me, ‘How does it feel to break the losing streak?’” he said with a laugh. “I’ll be happy to talk about that.”
For now, the dark cloud over KU football remains.
The Jayhawks have lost 30 straight road games — and 33 games away from Memorial Stadium overall — in a feat that bends the mind the closer it’s examined.
