Elite Texas high school combo guard Quentin Grimes has decided to play basketball at Kansas, he announced Wednesday night at a signing ceremony at his high school.
Grimes, a 6-foot-5 senior from College Park High School in The Woodlands, Texas, who is ranked No. 11 in the recruiting class of 2018 by Rivals.com, chose the Jayhawks over Texas, Kentucky and Marquette.
Grimes, who averaged 28.1 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game his junior year at College Park High, sat with his parents by a College Park High school logo and displayed a No. 5 Kansas jersey in making his choice known.
