Blue-chip high school senior point guard Devon Dotson could be close to announcing his college choice following last weekend’s visit to Maryland.
“Pretty soon, like in a week or so,” Dotson’s dad, Dana, told Rivals.com, referring to his son’s likely decision date.
Dotson, 6-foot-1, 180 pounds from Providence Day High in Charlotte, N.C., officially has a final four of Kansas, Maryland, Florida and Clemson.
However, Rivals.com’s Corey Evans on Monday reported that Florida is no longer in the running for the No. 17-ranked Dotson following the Monday commitment of No. 26-ranked Andrew Nembhard, a 6-4 senior point guard from Montverde (Fla.
