LAWRENCE — Many KU fans breathed a sigh of relief when former Florida men's basketball coach Billy Donovan — and not Kansas coach Bill Self — accepted the opening with the Oklahoma City Thunder this offseason.
Count national college basketball writer Jason King among the crowd that thinks it is just a matter of time until Self does make that jump, though.
"I do feel like it is in his future," King said on this week's edition of the KU HawkZone Podcast, "and the thing is, if it does happen, I certainly hope Kansas fans don't knock him or take it personally.
