LAWRENCE — One chapter ended Saturday for Kansas basketball senior Perry Ellis, who played in his final contest at Allen Fieldhouse.
But make no mistake: The book is not yet closed, and in many ways, perhaps his most important pages remain unwritten.
“We’ve had some unbelievable regular seasons, but we haven’t closed them all,” KU coach Bill Self said following his team’s 85-78 victory over No. 21 Iowa State. “There’s still something to say about his legacy and the other guys’ legacy, by us finishing strong and really performing our best from this point on.”
