Change is difficult. I don’t like change. Kansas football fans have had too many changes over the past decade. In business, employers spend a lot of time recruiting and doing their best to retain good staff. On the other hand, they also spend time finding ways to get rid of some under-performing employees.
College athletics is no different. Athletic directors look for good coaches who can bring in a quality coaching staff to build a successful program. It is not ideal if the head coach has to spend a majority of time recruiting and replacing his staff.
A little staff turnover is inevitable.
