During his 25-year career as a head coach, Self's teams have compiled a 647-199 record. The Jayhawks have won 14 straight Big 12 championships and a national title under his guidance.
Heading into KU's regular-season finale Saturday against the Cowboys, the Oklahoma State student paper poked fun at Self with a tweet that showed him during his playing days and the message "Bill Self peaked in college.
