KU VOLLEYBALL WINS PAIR:The Kansas volleyball team picked up two more wins with victories over Chicago State and Maryland at the Kansas Invitational on Friday in Lawrence.
The fifth-ranked Jayhawks defeated Chicago State 25-12, 25-8, 25-9 in their opening game before beating Maryland 26-24, 25-19, 25-23.
Against Chicago State, Madison Rigdon had 11 kills while Ainise Havili had 24 assists and Cassie Wait had 14 digs. Against Maryland, Rigdon had 18 kills and nine digs while Havili had 44 assists and Wait had 20 digs.
