Kansas softball shut out Evansville 7-0 in the first game and won 4-2 in 10 innings in the second game Tuesday at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence.
In the opener, KU’s offense totaled 11 hits and seven runs while Andie Formby — fresh off her no-hitter on Sunday — allowed just three hits and no runs.
Formby again took the mound in the second game, throwing six innings, allowing no runs and tallying the win. The Jayhawk offense scored twice in the first inning and would not score again until Lily Behrmann’s walkoff two-run home run in the 10th inning.
